Tired of fighting cravings and spiraling further downward with another relapse?
Most people do not recover from their addiction. They die. Or they end up in an endless cycle of relapse and abstinence. Those who do recover fight constant cravings and struggle to remain clean and sober.
But it doesn't have to be this way.
I'm Cynthia Perkins, and like many of you I endured these same types of struggles in the early years of my recovery. I fought overwhelming cravings that led to relapse. I thought I was a hopeless drunk. I was crippled with anxiety in the first year of my sobriety.
Then I discovered how to eliminate my cravings and crippling anxiety by correcting addictive brain chemistry.
I overcame my addiction to alcohol, benzos, marijuana, cocaine, sugar, carbs, caffeine, nicotine, and abusive relationships, using the principles you will find in this program. As of the year 2023, I have more than 35 years of craving-free and uninterrupted sobriety.
When I addressed brain chemistry then cravings for my addictive substances simply disappeared. Just like that. It was no longer a battle to remain and clean and sober. I never even thought about it anymore.
I learned that the reason most people do not recover from addiction is because they are not addressing the root of the problem, which is impaired brain chemistry.
After these discoveries and my miraculous recovery from addiction I felt called to help others do the same and a deep sense of responsibility to share what I have learned. And that is why this program exists.
Alcoholism, or addiction of any kind, is caused by an impairment or imbalance of brain chemistry, not character defects. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) describes addiction as a "chronic relapsing brain disease," because drugs change the structure and function of the brain.
Neurotransmitters in the brain regulate our moods, emotions, behavior, thoughts, memory, energy, pain, perception, cognitive functioning, and ability to focus.
Psychotropic substances (e.g., alcohol and drugs) mimic our natural neurotransmitters, which alters the production, release, and reuptake of these neurotransmitters. This leads to depletion or imbalance of the neurotransmitters and then dependence on the addictive substance to perform the duties of the impaired neurotransmitters.
You can achieve life-long and craving-free sobriety from any addictive substance by restoring balance to the disrupted brain chemistry.
When brain chemistry is restored to balance, it not only stops cravings for addictive substances, but it also promotes a more stable mood and improves brain function. In the Clean and Sober for Life Jump-Start Program you will come to understand that:
You are not powerless.
You are not weak-willed.
You are not a bad person.
You have impaired brain chemistry.
In the Clean and Sober for Life Program, you will learn how you can correct these imbalances in brain chemistry and reclaim your life with simple changes in diet, lifestyle, and nutritional supplements.
"I bought the Clean and Sober for Life Jump-Start Program the other day and I'm amazed with it!! The information that you provide is very refreshing, and, not so much "in your face" as other programs and groups. It gives people like me a reason to be happy with myself for taking an alternative step toward sobriety and not getting chastised or ridiculed!! Thank you!! ~ Don Z.
Addiction is addiction. All addiction is rooted in depleted or imbalanced neurotransmitters in the brain.
The
principles for recovery are the same for all addiction, it does not
matter whether it is alcohol, drugs, sugar, food, sex, etc. The only
aspect that varies in recovery from addiction to addiction, is which neurotransmitters are affected.
For example, alcohol affects dopamine, GABA, endorphins, and serotonin; opioids affect endorphins and dopamine; benzodiazepines affect dopamine and GABA; cocaine and methamphetamine affect dopamine; marijuana affects endocannabinoids and dopamine; nicotine affects dopamine, endorphins, GABA, and acetylcholine; caffeine affects acetylcholine, dopamine, serotonin, and GABA. Additionally, it is rare that an addict has only one addiction; so we are usually addressing several addictions at one time.
The Nutrients for Sobriety protocol in this program includes a nutrient
list for all primary addictions. All other aspects of recovery are the
same across the board.
Therefore, the Clean and Sober for Life Jump-Start Program is designed to be used for an addiction of any kind including:
Etc. Etc. Etc. .
The Clean and Sober for Life Jump-Start program uses cutting-edge principles taken from the latest science-based research into addiction to put all the power to overcome your addiction in your hands and live a craving-free life.
